There have been three major version releases during 2018.
  • On the hardware front, the three decade commitment to in-house development of rugged mobile computers continues apace. 2018 saw the launch of a new Android tablet device and further product launches are scheduled for Q1 2019. The company’s ‘hardware neutral’ stance to EPOD means that clients benefit from a selection of in-house manufactured devices or a range of supported third party devices from strategic partners such as Honeywell

“It is a team effort,” states Mark Hardy, CEO of Touchstar Technologies. “We’ve worked extremely hard to deliver against our business plan and to exceed the expectations of our customers. Despite an uncertain economic outlook, we plan to continue this momentum in the UK for our standard EPOD offering and to further increase our footprint in other international markets with our more specialist ‘bulk logistics’ variants. Logistics professionals across the globe are recognising the transformation delivered by intelligent automation and digitisation, and we are here to deliver.”
